With the Sennheiser BTA1 TV Transmitter your own wireless headphones become TV headphones - complete with great sound and handy features. The transmitter delivers cinema-like sound - directly to your headphones. With excellent voice clarity, dialogue is easier to understand, and the transmitter evens out volume spikes from TV programs.

You can also enable virtual surround sound: it puts you in the middle of the action, ideal for movies and sports broadcasts. The transmitter outputs Dolby Digital or PCM/Stereo formats - always with rich, impressive Sennheiser sound.

Normalize Volume To Level Out Volume Spikes

When the volume unexpectedly rises during commercials or loud action scenes, "Normalize Volume" automatically smooths out spikes. That means you don't have to keep adjusting the volume during action or whisper scenes. The Bluetooth LE codecs offer very low latency, so there's no choppy delay between lip movement and speech or between actions and sound effects.

Easy TV Connection

To make setup simple, the transmitter features HDMI, USB, optical and analog connections. Optical and analog cables as well as a USB cable are included.

The Sennheiser Smart Control Plus app lets you customize the Normalize Volume function and also adds encryption for your privacy.

The BTA 1 has a cool feature called Bluetooth Auracast that lets you pair as many Auracast headphones as you like. Perfect for watching TV with a partner or friends.

With Auracast headphones, everyone can choose their own volume and sound settings. Listeners can also move freely: the transmitter delivers high-quality, nearly lossless audio within a range of up to 50 meters. The transmitter sends audio signals from AV receivers, TVs - and basically any device with an audio output.
