Outstanding Sound Quality

Feel the warmth of natural sound and don’t miss a single detail. Studio-quality 64-bit mix and dithering processing, high-grade 32-bit A/D and D/A converters, a low-jitter clock generator, and other selected components deliver a powerful bass foundation, vibrant mids, and precise highs.

6 Channels with a Wide Range of Inputs

Choose your ideal setup and connect everything you need—from CDJs and turntables to samplers, synths, and drum machines. The analog inputs are located on top and physically assigned to each channel, so you always know exactly where to plug in each device.

Through the built-in 96 kHz/24-bit sound card, you can send and receive up to 6 stereo channels (inputs and outputs) in full quality to/from a PC/Mac. The send and master signals as well as the individual channel inputs and outputs can be routed via USB to a computer. For seamless DJ handovers, two laptops (PC/Mac) can be connected simultaneously.

A USB A port and a 6.3 mm jack are located on the top and rear of the mixer. You can arrange your sounds with the RMX-1000 app for iPad or another FX app, or record your mix directly in the DJM-REC app without compromising sound quality. You can also route hardware insert effect devices like the RMX-1000 via the 6.3 mm jack connection.

Synchronize external production gear with the BPM from rekordbox. Quantized BPM information is shared via Pro DJ Link when connected to a LAN hub. If you don’t use PRO DJ Link, the DJM-V10’s BEAT FX suite analyzes and displays the BPM of a track.

4-Band EQ and Compressor

Shape your sound exactly how you like it. The frequencies, curves, boost, and cut values for each band are specially tailored to give you maximum flexibility. Fully isolate highs and/or lows and optimize the two midranges—each with custom curves—to refine your mix.

With the DJM-V10, you can seamlessly play back modern compressed productions as well as older or unmastered tracks. Turn the compressor knob on the respective channel, and the mixer "boosts" the sound in real time. The quieter the track, the stronger the compression, lifting the sound of "weaker" tracks while minimally affecting mastered music.

Each channel features a newly developed precision fader that allows for the finest adjustments. The new faders are extremely stable and durable, feeling like new even after years of use.

Effects for Even More Creative Expression

Send Section: Send audio to one of 4 built-in effects and up to 2 external devices to create unique sounds and even live remixes. You can connect guitar pedals, effect units, and more to the send/return jack sockets.

Filter: Dramatically change a track’s sound or subtly enhance it using the newly developed filter with resonance control. Activate the high- or low-pass by pressing one of the two buttons, then turn the knob from fully left (no filter applied) to fully right (maximum filter applied). Separating high- and low-pass provides double the resolution compared to the DJM-900NXS2 filter, allowing even finer sound adjustments.

Beat FX: Control the X-Pad via the touch display to intuitively modify effects and harmonize sound sources like vocals and synthesizers to create unique tones. You can select the channel to apply the effect to directly with the BEAT FX Assign button on each channel. The effect selection has also been expanded: "Shimmer" is a new Beat FX that adds more "brightness" to the original audio.

3-Band Master Isolator

Easily control the sound of your entire mix with the 3-band master isolator, which offers new boost/cut curves and adjustment options for transition frequencies and other parameters. Grab the large knobs and heat up the crowd by drastically changing the sound.

Dual Headphone Output & Booth EQ

Connect your headphones and those of another DJ simultaneously and enjoy independent monitoring. Each headphone output has its own cue/master mix control and volume knob. This lets you choose what you want to hear while preparing to take over the decks—or during a back-to-back set.

The booth EQ lets you optimize the sound of the monitor speakers so your ears don’t tire quickly during long sets.
