Omnitronic TRM-402 Rotary Mixer - Back to the Roots!
Especially popular among electronic music DJs worldwide was the 2-channel version of this mixer, the TRM-202 MK3 from Omnitronic. The TRM-402 4-channel rotary mixer expands the beloved concept by 2 channels: now nothing stands in the way of a creative 4-deck DJ setup or seamless transitions during a gig. Of course, this version also features the classic rotary mixer elements in the form of ALPS rotary controls (Blue Velvet RK27) and a 3-band frequency isolator.
Smooth Transitions
The high-quality components of the TRM-402 ensure an appealing sound image. The large rotary controls of the 4 channels allow the DJ to create very smooth transitions, which are difficult to achieve with a conventional mixer (with faders). All channels can switch between line and phono inputs or sources. A microphone input is also available. The kill characteristic of the isolator allows complete cancellation of bass, mids, and highs for creative mixing.
Recording Your Own Set
The TRM-402 is equipped with a booth output and a separate volume control. This makes using the mixer in a club no problem. Thanks to the record output, it is also possible to record your own DJ set.
Comfortable Stereo Headphones
The KDJ-1000 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass reproduction and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume yet maintains clean and precise stereo imaging. Thanks to the low impedance, the KDJ-1000 can handle extreme volume levels even with low-signal inputs. Naturally, the softly padded, wide headband is adjustable in length. The entire headphone folds up for space-saving storage. For mixing work, the comfortable ear cups can also rotate 180° to allow classic "single ear monitoring." The thick, soft padding of the circumaural ear cups additionally provides good external noise isolation.
