You can also assign a different color to each deck, complemented by the jog wheel lighting, so you always know which deck is active.

Support for Multiple Media Sources and Playback Modes

Fast and Precise Track Search—Even in the Largest Collections

Find your tracks faster and more accurately than ever thanks to the newly developed user interface with electrostatic touch module. No matter how large your music collection is—you can use the 10.1-inch touchscreen (25.6 cm) to quickly search tracks via the keyboard or use the playlist bank to navigate playlists swiftly.

With touch preview, you can even preview tracks while browsing. The new intelligent Smart Rotary Selector offers joystick-like control with left/right, up/down, rotate, and press functions. Other browsing controls are neatly arranged around this rotary push knob, allowing you to browse your music collection, preview, and load tracks without moving your whole hand.

The OPUS-QUAD was specially developed to meet the demands of the increasingly diverse DJ scene and delivers high-quality sound that remains comfortable to listen to over long periods in any environment. The system configuration eliminates transmission losses and AD-DA conversion losses.

It is equipped with a premium 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology. Wherever you DJ with the OPUS-QUAD, the entire venue is surrounded by pleasant sound that further enhances the spatial experience.

User-Friendly Professional Effects

The new effects of the OPUS-QUAD make it easy to add texture and tension to the music, so you can energize the crowd and give the sound your personal touch with Beat FX. The XY pad simplifies controlling functions like FX Bank and channel selection, as Beat FX parameters and the filter cutoff frequency are controlled by movements on the X and Y axes.

This allows you to combine both effects with just one finger. With the popular "Smooth Echo" function, you can easily trigger an echo by moving a previously assigned fader or knob to apply the effect when active. Each channel also features Sound Color FX, giving you even more options to create different sounds and excite your audience.

Zone Output for Playing Different Music in Various Rooms

Thanks to the zone output, which can output a signal independent from the master, you can play different music in different rooms with just one OPUS-QUAD. For example, you can connect a smartphone via Bluetooth® to the system and set up a playlist with background music quietly playing in a bar or a second room where people are chatting, while you mix tracks from a USB device for the main area.

Optimized Deck Layout and New Smart Cue

Take full control of the music thanks to the refined deck layout, which features a display above each full-size jog wheel. With this setup, you don’t need to shift your gaze when manipulating tracks or checking track info, parameters, and function statuses. And with the new Smart Cue function, you can automatically overwrite the current cue position with recalled hot cues. This makes using hot cues much faster and more intuitive than ever with just one movement.

Rekordbox Link Export

Using the rekordbox Link Export mode, you can play tracks directly from your laptop as if it were a USB drive.

Smooth Echo

Assign a Smooth Echo effect to a control of your choice. When you press the Smooth Echo button, the echo triggers as soon as you move the assigned fader or knob.

BEAT LOOP Button

This button can be used to toggle BEAT LOOP on and off and to change the loop length.
