Pioneer DJ's Latest 2-Channel DJ Controller for Serato DJ Pro - The Scratching Revolution!

The DDJ-REV7 is designed to help you get the most out of the Serato DJ Pro performance software and features a brand-new design that includes large, motorized jog wheels with jog displays to create a tactile connection between you and your music. The layout of this 2-channel controller emulates a professional setup of DJM-S mixer + PLX turntables and offers special features for open-format and scratch DJs.

This two-channel DJ controller is engineered to work seamlessly with Serato DJ Pro performance software. The centerpiece is the 7-inch large jog wheels with built-in jog displays. The motorized jog wheels provide the same rotational stability as 12-inch turntables and aim to deliver a scratch feel like real vinyl. The grippy acrylic platter lets you choose between two different torque settings. Each jog wheel features a display showing key info like BPM, key, and tempo. You can also view various visual displays such as waveform and artwork. Also new are the DDJ-REV7’s Instant Scratch buttons, which let you trigger samples even in the middle of the most complex scratch maneuvers.

Feel like you’re working with real records – the heart of each deck on the DDJ-REV7 is the new motorized 7-inch jog wheel, offering the same rotational stability as a 12-inch turntable and built to feel like real vinyl.

VINYLIZED JOG: For Your Personalized Play Feel

The top acrylic plate features a grippy, vinyl-like texture. You can switch between low and high torque and use the included slip mats on each deck to achieve the ideal friction for you. Switch freely between 33? and 45 rpm and adjust Stop Time to control exactly when playback stops after pressing pause.

On Jog Display: Keep Key Info in Sight

At the center of each jog wheel, a 3.5-inch display shows important information so you don’t have to constantly shift your gaze between the decks and your laptop. Thanks to an omnidirectional viewing angle, you can read the displays from any angle, and you can turn off the digital marker that shows the playback position whenever you want. Instead of the digital marker, you can also mark each jog wheel with the included stickers if you prefer.

Waveform Mode

View the entire waveform of the track on this deck as well as detailed waveforms of tracks on both decks side by side for quick, intuitive adjustments. You also get more info: BPM, playback speed (tempo), remaining or elapsed time, digital playback point marker (toggleable), and the number of beats in a loop if you’re currently playing one.

DJ Logo Display

Instant Scratch - Quickly Trigger Samples with Dedicated Buttons

The DDJ-REV7 features 4 original scratch samples you can trigger by pressing the corresponding hardware buttons. Since the sounds are built-in, you can trigger them anytime—even if the controller isn’t connected to your laptop. If you want to use your own samples in a set, you can instantly load scratch samples from 4 banks assigned in Serato DJ Pro using the Scratch Bank function.

With 3 brand-new Beat FX, you can add more drama to your track transitions. In total, there are 22 Beat FX you can trigger with dedicated controls (New Beat FX: Duck Down, Fill Out, and Helix Out).

You can also pull the effect levers down and hold to momentarily apply Serato DJ Pro effects, or push them up to lock effects and free your hands for scratching or searching for tracks.

Duck Down

A roll effect that fades out while lowering the pitch.

Fill Out

A roll effect that creates a roll with a changing rhythm pattern and fades out with echo.

Helix Out

An effect that captures the input signal and repeats it while fading out like a reverb, with playback speed and pitch rising simultaneously.

The DDJ-REV7 is solid and robust but light enough to grab by the handles and take to your next gig. The contrasting matte and hairline finishes on different areas of the aluminum deck plate help distinguish between deck and mixer sections. This layout looks like a traditional 2-turntable and mixer system, while the on-jog displays mimic the label in the center of a vinyl record.

Silent Cue

Turn on Silent Cue to avoid your music "speeding up" when the platter starts spinning. Simply select a hot cue and press play, and it sounds just like a cue point on a DJ player.
