You can use the DJ software rekordbox or Serato DJ Lite for free by connecting your PC/Mac to the DDJ-FLX4. If you want to upgrade to Serato DJ Pro, you can purchase a license or subscription for the premium version of the software.

Built-In Sound Card (Audio Interface)

Thanks to a built-in sound card, you can easily connect the DDJ-FLX4 directly to your speakers or amplifier via RCA cables. Additionally, you can record via USB connection using rekordbox.

Brand-New Smart Mixing Functions

Not sure how to mix yet? No worries: with the Smart Fader function, you can start right away. It automatically adjusts volume, bass volume, and BPM, allowing you to create smooth transitions between your tracks simply by moving the channel faders or crossfader. And with Smart CFX, you conjure up an effect combination that adds drama to your sound. Just turn a knob.

Selected Streaming Services Seamlessly Integrated

Rekordbox is compatible with multiple streaming services. You can choose from millions of tracks available on platforms like TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming, and SoundCloud Go+ (subscriptions required) and mix them on the DDJ-FLX4. You can also use all effects and performance features to spice up your favorite tracks and create your own sound.

USB Audio Output for Microphone Signal

If you like to MC or sing over your sets, the DDJ-FLX4 makes it easy by mixing the sound for you. You can connect the controller to one device and hear your mix’s sound together with the microphone sound as long as no Bluetooth® device is connected. This also makes the DDJ-FLX4 an ideal choice if you want to live stream your sets, as you can manage everything from one device.

Performance Pads

The performance pads control essential software functions. The DDJ-FLX4 offers 8 pads per function, usable for hot cues, pad FX, beat jump, samples, keyboard, loops, and pitch-shifting options. This lets you creatively alter, extend, or customize special parts of the music to your taste.

Optimized for DJing and Music Production

You don’t have to choose between a monitor set best suited for DJing or for playing and producing music: the DM-40D speakers are perfect for both. Simply flip the switch to select either DJ mode or production mode, and the DSP settings optimize for the task so you can focus on what’s at hand.

Class-D Amplifier

Each DM-40D speaker produces pure, balanced bass thanks to a new Class-D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP.

Easy to Combine

With RCA, mini-jack, and the now additionally available jack inputs, you can connect various types of devices such as DJ controllers and mixers, laptops, or sound cards you are currently using.

You can conveniently connect your headphones via the jack socket on the front of the DM-40D, and the volume control is also located there so you can quickly adjust the level anytime.

Ribbed Air Channels

The ribbed sound channels reduce air friction, so the bass is firm and powerful even when you place the speakers against a wall. Additionally, the curved front edges provide maximum stiffness and minimal resonance for clean sound at any volume.

Bluetooth Integrated

The Bluetooth technology included in the DM-50D-BT and DM-40D-BT models allows you to easily pair your smartphone, mobile device, or PC/Mac and play your tracks wirelessly in high quality.

DECO Convex Diffuser

Another improvement over the DM-40 is the updated design of the convex DECO diffusers, which deliver crystal-clear high frequencies in every direction, so you can enjoy a wide sweet spot and 3D stereo sound anywhere in the room.
