VM95 Series - Stereo Cartridge, Elliptical!
The AT-VM95E is Audio-Technica's new entry-level model with an elliptical stylus, not only replacing the legendary AT95E but also benefiting from the developments of the AT95EX introduced in 2015. The AT-VM95E impresses with an improved, distinctive design featuring a stiffer, low-resonance housing and, thanks to two threaded inserts in the housing, an especially easy installation with just two screws, no nuts required (with headshell or integrated into the tonearm).
Elliptical, Mounted Stylus
An elliptical diamond stylus follows the groove modulations with greater precision compared to a conical stylus, enabling a better frequency response with higher phase accuracy and lower distortion.
Nut-Free Mounting
VM95 series cartridges have two M2.6 threaded inserts that allow installation on the tonearm or the (replaceable) headshell without nuts. Each cartridge includes four M2.6 screws (2 x 8 mm and 2 x 11 mm) and two plastic washers in the package.
