Cordial CPI ZZ - Mono Patch Cable!

The CPI ZZ patch cable was developed in close collaboration with sound tinkerers from the scene explicitly for modular synthesizers. In this field, the demands on patch cables are especially high, as analog synths present musicians with unique challenges:

• Constantly new signal flows are permanently patched together in countless variations
• Complex structures require extreme clarity
• The cables are exposed to extreme tensile stress
• Interference would disrupt sensitive signals

Cordial’s Complete Solution:

• Color-coded sleeves provide length-specific color coding
• The 3.5mm connectors made of solid metal are hand-soldered and perfectly strain-relieved
• Welded plastic plugs completely prevent interference along the entire length
• The shielded CSP 1 cable made from high-purity copper (OFC) is, like all Cordial cables, low in harmful substances according to RoHS III

The especially thin (conductor cross-section 0.18 mm², AWG 25) yet robust single-pair switching cable CSP 1 is used, for example, when signal lines are needed over short distances and very space-saving within less frequented event or studio areas. The two copper conductors twisted into a pair are shielded by an aluminum-laminated foil shield plus drain wire. The overall jacket is made of black PVC.
