The Pronomic MC Series Power Amplifiers Are Designed For Flexible, Mobile Use In Professional Sound Reinforcement Systems!

Flexible Circuitry
The MC4-600 features a mode selector for each channel that allows operation in stereo or parallel mode. This gives you a very versatile tool for a wide range of applications.
Adjustable Crossover Frequency
The two channel pairs have a selector switch with positions OFF, HPF and LPF. Depending on the speakers used, only the required frequency bands for full-range speakers, subwoofers or tweeters are processed. The crossover frequency is 100 hertz.
All essential protection circuits are of course integrated:
- The power soft-start function prevents overloading the mains when the amplifier is switched on.
- The output DC protection constantly checks whether DC components are present at the speaker outputs and will switch the outputs off if signals are poor. This reliably prevents destruction of speaker coils due to excessive DC components.
- The integrated clip limiter reliably prevents overload of the amplifier. It already prevents DC components from occurring in the circuit at the amplifier stage.
- The sophisticated thermal monitoring and fan control ensure smooth continuous operation under heavy loads.
- Standard protection circuits such as short-circuit protection are, of course, present here as well.
- All protection circuits continuously check whether the fault still exists and immediately release the outputs again as soon as the fault is cleared.

I have replaced my 3 old iron pigs (Solton and T-amp), which I use at home on a CX3400 for monitoring, with the mc6-400, after one of them regularly switched off after about 1 hour at a slightly higher level due to overheating...
The sound of the mc6-400 is much better than expected, even better than that of the old iron pigs, the power is more than sufficient and even after longer sessions the amp only gets a little over hand warm. Perfect! That's how I imagined it.
The fan noise doesn't bother me at all, you can only hear it when the room is quiet, but when is it ever....?! ;-)
