The HP-2000 offers not only high power of up to 9000 watts but also very flexible handling in terms of input gain, frequency filters, and connections. All common protection circuits are naturally included.

Stereo and Mono Mode

The amplifier can pass a right and left audio signal to the connected speakers with its two channels. In "Bridged" mode, the power of both channels is used for a single mono signal to achieve higher power output.

Selectable Input Sensitivity

For optimal operation with speaker controllers, the HP-2000 features a selector switch for 0.77V, 1.0V, or 32dB.

Selectable Crossover Frequency

Both channels have a selectable crossover frequency between 25 and 150 Hz, which can function as a high-pass or low-pass filter.

All important protection circuits are naturally integrated:

• The power soft-start function prevents overloading the power grid when switching on the amplifier
• The output DC protection constantly checks for DC components at the speaker outputs and switches the outputs off if poor signals occur. This reliably prevents damage to speaker coils caused by excessive DC components
• The integrated clip limiter reliably prevents amplifier overload. It already prevents DC components from occurring in the circuit on the amplifier side
• The sophisticated thermal monitoring and fan control ensures smooth continuous operation even under high loads
• Standard protection circuits such as short-circuit protection are a given and naturally included here as well
• All protection circuits constantly check if the fault still exists and immediately release the outputs again after the fault is cleared
