The Tascam RX-BT10MKII is a professional stereo Bluetooth audio receiver for wirelessly connecting smartphones, tablets and other compatible source devices to existing PA and audio systems. This Bluetooth audio receiver combines Bluetooth 5.1 Class 1 with balanced XLR outputs, unbalanced phono connections and selectable stereo or mono output. The compact receiver is ideal for conference rooms, hospitality venues, educational institutions, retail spaces, event venues and mobile PA systems.
Bluetooth 5.1 with clear device identification
Under optimal conditions, with a clear transmission path and compatible devices, the wireless range reaches up to 100 m. For audio playback, the RX-BT10MKII supports the A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth profiles, as well as the SBC and AAC codecs. The receiver stores pairing information for up to eight devices. The MKII generation is especially useful when managing multiple installations: use the free Tascam Bluetooth Name Editor software to customize the Bluetooth device name displayed. A unique Bluetooth ID also makes it easier to identify each receiver.
Balanced XLR outputs and phono connections for flexible audio wiring
Two balanced XLR outputs and two unbalanced phono jacks let you connect mixers, amplifiers and other audio components with suitable line inputs. A switch on the rear panel selects stereo output or a mono sum (L+R) of the source signal. Adjust the output level directly on the front panel. With a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, maximum total harmonic distortion (THD+N) of 0.04 % and a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 90 dB, this wireless audio receiver offers impressive technical performance for professional playback applications.
Discreet installation with a remote-mountable antenna
The rugged metal housing features mounting points for a range of installation situations. The included mounting brackets let you attach the RX-BT10MKII under a tabletop or on a shelf, for example. The Bluetooth antenna is detachable and can be positioned up to 20 m from the unit using suitable accessories, available separately. An external pairing button can also be connected via the two-pin Euroblock connector. This keeps wireless reception and controls easily accessible, even when the receiver is installed in an equipment cabinet.
Designed for fixed and mobile PA systems
Whether you want to play background music in a restaurant, provide a Bluetooth source in a meeting room or add wireless audio streaming to an existing PA system, the RX-BT10MKII combines easy operation with professional connections. The separately available Tascam AK-RS1 allows two units to be installed side by side in a 19" rack. The included PS-M1524 power adapter reliably powers the receiver, which consumes just 1.7 watts.
