You can't go wrong with this guitar if you're a beginner and want a classical guitar with nylon strings. Especially this is recommended to children again and again.

Since it's a 1/2 size, it's great for big kita kids and young elementary school students to accompany them in the first years of playing the guitar.

It is a rock solid instrument, which is very neatly finished. So if you do not know much about guitars, this Ortega is more than well advised.

Here you already get finesses that are missing in the cheap segment. Not least because the string action can be adjusted via an Allen screw, it is very adjustable and therefore easy to play. It is fret clean and overall very high quality workmanship.

The varnish is not high-gloss. It is satin matte.

The guitar is not solid wood, but the sound is very nice for a guitar with laminated top and back. Since the volume depends a lot on the size of the sound box, it is of course not quite as loud as the adult guitars. The sound is what you would expect from a good guitar as a beginner.

The strings are ok. As with all new strings, you have to retune more often at first, but that settles down to a normal level after a few hours of playing. The chrome tuners hold tension solidly. The guitar has a double hole at the bridge for stringing.

It comes in a well-padded and sturdily made case (gig bag), which has a left-handed logo as a left-handed variant. So every little left-hander can also really proudly present to own a left-handed guitar.
