This model is based on the Ibanez FRH concept and was developed for Tim Henson’s progressive approach. Instead of a classical concert-guitar shape, the design uses a compact, chambered body that feels especially familiar if you come from electric guitar or modern acoustic guitar. At the same time the soft attack and expressive dynamics of nylon strings are preserved. That makes the guitar excellent for fingerstyle, hybrid picking, modern pop productions, progressive sounds, loops, recording and detailed live performances.

Solid Top and Chambered Body

The solid Sitka spruce top provides clear response, fast reaction and dynamic tonal development. Back and sides of solid Okoume complement the instrument with controlled resonance and pleasant warmth. The modified FR chambered body with fan bracing combines acoustic liveliness with a compact build and reduced feedback risk in amplified use. The side sound port improves the player’s personal sound perception because part of the tone radiates directly toward the player. This lets you control articulation, attack and dynamics with exceptional precision.

Comfortable Neck for Precise Playing

The Nyatoh neck with a C-profile offers a balanced mix of classic nylon feel and modern playability. The 46 mm nut width gives plenty of room for clean chords, arpeggios and complex voicings while remaining more compact and direct than many traditional concert guitars. The ebony fingerboard with a 400 mm radius supports precise lines, controlled movement and a clear playing feel across all 22 frets. The Tree of Death inlay is a defining signature detail and gives the instrument a distinctive visual identity.

Fishman System for Stage and Recording

The pickup system combines a Fishman Acoustic Matrix undersaddle pickup with a Fishman bridge-mounted body pickup. Together with the Fishman Aura preamp this creates a flexible setup for natural, detailed and stage-ready nylon sounds. Via volume, Aura Image Blend with phase switch and body pickup additive blend you can shape the sound precisely and adapt it to an amplifier, PA, audio interface or effects chain. The 1/4" output jack supports mono or stereo operation and opens additional possibilities for creative signal routing.

The ebony double-hole bridge, the plastic bridge saddle and the gold classical tuners provide a reliable foundation for tuning stability, clean string guidance and controlled response.
