The maple fretboard with a 430 mm (16.9") radius supports a very low action and clean bending across all 24 jumbo frets. HSH Configuration for Versatile Sounds

The combination of a V7 neck humbucker, S1 single coil in the middle and a V8 bridge humbucker covers a wide sonic spectrum. The neck humbucker delivers singing leads and full clean tones, while the single coil adds transparency and glassy intermediate positions. At the bridge the V8 supplies cutting riffs, precise attack and plenty of output for high-gain sounds. A 5-way switch offers tonal variations from clear rhythm tones to compact high-gain textures. One volume and one tone control keep operation deliberately direct and stage-ready.

Edge Tremolo and Gotoh Tuners

The Edge Tremolo is one of the signature features of classic Ibanez RG models. It enables expressive vibrato techniques, dive bombs and subtle pitch modulation with high control. Combined with the locking nut, the system supports stable tuning even under intensive tremolo use. Gotoh tuners and black hardware complete the professional setup. The factory-fitted .009–.042 string gauge underlines the quick, easy-playing feel and suits the 25.5" scale perfectly.
