The Perfect Start to the World of Music!
Thanks to the special Light Guide function with lighted keys, even complete beginners can play music effortlessly on this starter keyboard. Develop your skills with the internal songs, which include many popular hits, and take advantage of a wide range of learning features. Be inspired by the keyboard's precise touch sensitivity, which lets you shape dynamics in detail, and by authentic, high-quality instrument tones— including grand piano and more. An instrument that brings musical joy to everyone, from children to adults.
Lighted Keys Make Learning and Practicing a Breeze
Simply press the keys as they light up and enjoy playing, even if you can't read music or have never touched a keyboard before. The instrument also features 3-step lessons that let you practice the internal songs at your level with the right hand, left hand, or both hands together, and repeat phrases as needed.
Keys To Success
The Keys To Success feature lets you choose the phrases you need to learn from the internal songs and practice them step by step. This allows you to focus on the important phrases and tricky passages, making song learning significantly more efficient.
3-Step Lesson Function
Try learning on your own with the EZ-310's internal songs. Even if you can't read music or don't know which keys to play, you can practice at home and improve using the three steps shown on the keyboard display—"Listen; learn when the notes sound; and play."
Entertaining and Completely Authentic
In addition to the rich, authentic tones of Yamaha grand pianos, the EZ-310 offers 650 internal voices with realistic sounds of guitars, basses, drums and other instruments. You can play these voices with full expressive control: hit the keys hard and the sound gets louder; play softly and the sound becomes delicate. This touch-response feature reveals the smallest nuances in your playing so you can perform with freedom and expression.
Voices
Play 650 stunning voices, including guitar, bass, strings, saxophone, trumpet, drums and percussion, as well as piano, organ and other classic keyboard instruments—together forming a comprehensive library of musical tones.
Touch Sensitivity
Play on a touch-sensitive keyboard that accurately reproduces every nuance of your performance and makes your playing more expressive. Strike the keys harder for louder tones or play gently for softer sounds to gain true dynamic control over your music.
Play and Listen to Your Favorite Songs
The instrument includes 152 songs, covering famous pop, classical and piano pieces so you can play and listen to your favorites. You can also connect it to your computer and add even more personal songs.
Titles
There are a variety of built-in preset songs. Use the learning features to support your practice and improve your playing. There's also a free songbook for the preset songs that you can download after registering from the "EZ-310 related data download" webpage.
Auto Accompaniment at the Push of a Button
The instrument offers powerful accompaniment functions that automatically add rhythm, bass and chord accompaniment notes to the chords you play. These are perfectly matched and sound as if you're performing with a full backing band. There's even a handy Auto Chord Play feature that generates musically appropriate chords automatically, helping you expand your musical range.
Auto Chord Play
Playing with style accompaniment on a Yamaha keyboard is a true pleasure—the style system gives you the feeling of performing with a band even when you play alone. We provide a wealth of video lessons to help you build musical skills faster and have more fun. Use these instrument-specific tutorial videos to make self-guided home practice more dynamic.
Smart Chord
With the Smart Chord function you can play along with the style accompaniment by simply playing the root note (the lowest note) of a chord—you don't even need to play the full chord!
More Features
Super Articulation Lite
"Super Articulation Lite" recreates the tone and expressive playing characteristics of instruments that were once hard to imitate. Choose, for example, a guitar voice—acoustic or electric—and you'll hear realistic string noises as you play.
DSP Effects
The EZ-310 features a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) that lets you apply a range of built-in effects such as delay or distortion to shape the sound for your performance. When a voice has a recommended DSP setting, the DSP effect is assigned to the main voice part.
Arpeggio Function
Let arpeggios (so-called broken chords) play automatically simply by holding the appropriate keys. For example, play a triad and the arpeggio function will automatically add variations of interesting phrases. This feature is useful for both live performance and music production.
Registration Memory
Store your preferred voice, style and control panel settings so you can recall them instantly while playing. No more searching for sounds, accompaniment styles or settings during performance!
Rec'n'Share
If you want to record a video of your performance and share it on platforms like YouTube or TikTok, Rec'n'Share is the solution. Connect the EZ-310 to your smart device and record video with audio at the same time to complete your video.
USB Audio Recording/Interface
Connect the EZ-310 to your computer via USB for audio and MIDI use.
Simple User Interface
When selecting an instrument, accompaniment style or function, you can choose directly with the category/number buttons without needing to use a rotary knob.
Duo Mode
In Duo Mode two people can play the same instrument with identical ranges side by side. Enjoy piano playing with friends and family!
Song Book
The Song Book contains the notation for the built-in songs and also offers tips for the on-board lessons with images, an index and more. You can download the Song Book for free from the "EZ-310 related data download" website.
Headphone Jack
By connecting headphones you can practice without the built-in speakers producing any sound.
Recording
The EZ-310 includes a recording function that makes practice much easier. You can record your own performances and play them back immediately. For example, record the left hand first and then practice the right hand along with it.
Battery Operation
The EZ-310 can be powered either by six optional AA batteries or by the supplied AC adapter, so you can play in locations without mains power.
