Powerful TV sound meets elegant wood design!
The Bennett & Ross SB-700 TimberBase combines a powerful TV sound system with a stylish, space-saving cabinet. Unlike a traditional soundbar, this soundbase sits on your TV stand and can also support a TV with a suitable stand. With 2x 45 watts RMS, eight speaker drivers, Bluetooth 5.3 and a wide range of audio connections, it is ideal for films, series, music and everyday TV viewing. The warm wood finish, black front and gold-coloured feet also make it a distinctive addition to your living room.
90 watts RMS and eight speaker drivers
Inside the active TV soundbase are two 4" drivers, four 2" drivers and two drivers with 30 mm diaphragms. Combined with a total RMS output of 90 watts, the SB-700 provides a powerful foundation for TV audio and music. Its frequency range is 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The soundbase adds a dedicated stereo sound system to your TV without the need for additional external speakers.
Practical surface instead of an extra soundbar
The TimberBase fits neatly on a suitable TV stand. Its low-profile sounddeck design lets you place a TV weighing up to 20 kg directly on top, provided the stand, weight and setup are suitable. This saves space and keeps your entertainment setup tidy. The wood-look finish blends naturally into both modern and classic living spaces.
Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI ARC and a range of inputs
Connect the soundbase to almost any TV via HDMI ARC. Optical and coaxial digital inputs provide further options for connecting TVs and audio sources. An AUX stereo input with analog audio sockets is available for analogue devices. The USB port supports music playback from compatible USB storage devices. Bluetooth 5.3 also enables wireless audio streaming from a smartphone, tablet or other compatible device. The required HDMI ARC, optical, coaxial and AUX cables are included.
Adjustable sound and versatile use
Three EQ modes for music, film and speech make it easy to tailor the sound. Speech mode highlights the frequencies important for human voices and can make dialogue easier to understand. Use the SB-700 as a standalone soundbar or soundbase, or integrate it into an existing audio system. It can also be used for centre-channel playback when the existing system has a suitable line-level output and signal routing.
Convenient control from the sofa
Use the included remote to select an audio input, adjust the volume or change the EQ mode. During music playback, you can skip tracks and control playback and pause. Controls are also located on the top of the unit. An LED indicator shows the operating status. The Bennett & Ross SB-700 TimberBase is a versatile combination of TV speaker, Bluetooth music system and elegant platform for your home cinema.
