This makes the sound source clearly audible but makes it harder to locate individual sounds and instruments. 3D SOUND FIELD is based on over 30 years of experience using CINEMA DSP technology in home theater products to transform a 2-channel listening experience into a multichannel one. It locates the sound source using protected HRTF audio technology (Head-Related Transfer Function), synthesizes binaural audio, and converts the two-channel sound source into a three-dimensional sound space.

Listening Care Advanced – Clearer, Not Louder

Listening Care is the function for optimizing volume with a static (constant) volume setting on the device. However, this is subject to varying influences – the volume of the recording itself, the dynamic range and recording level of the music, as well as background noise, which can lead to volume changes on the device. Especially with strong background noise, there is often the urge to increase the volume.

The YH-L700 implements Listening Care adaptively and in real time based on data from the last 5 seconds. The volume average is calculated every 0.7 ms. Correction is made via a 4-band EQ and adapts to the average volume. The optimization is therefore much more precise as it constantly references the volume of the recording.

Less Noise, Not Less Music

Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) is often said to lose low-frequency signals during music playback. The enhanced ANC function sets new standards and suppresses ambient noise without affecting the music signal. In-ear microphones capture the combined signal of music and background noise and separate the signal processing of both sources.

These are isolated from each other by a new, unique algorithm. The noise captured by the inner microphone is analyzed to calculate the unwanted portion that must be removed from the music signal. This prevents unnecessary processing of the music signal and preserves the purity of the music.
