Even in Rain
The IP56 rating indicates the McGrey OLS-5251’s suitability for outdoor use. The IP code (International Protection Code) specifies the suitability of an electronic device under certain temperatures, humidity, vapors, dust, and other conditions. The IP56 rating means the OLS-5251 is protected against strong water jets and the housing also offers full protection against contact. Furthermore, dust—even in normally damaging amounts—cannot harm this device.
70/100V Option
The OLS-5251 outdoor box can be connected to all conventional HiFi and PA amplifiers; additionally, it can be operated on ELA systems with selectable 70 or 100 volts. The required power level is set via a rotary control.
Robust Wall Speaker
The mounting bracket allows easy wall installation of the McGrey box. The speaker is designed to rotate 90° vertically and 170° horizontally, offering maximum flexibility. At the same time, the speaker is robust and becomes a long-lasting musical companion. The mounting bracket and grille are made of aluminum, the housing from durable plastic.

The McGrey OLS speaker is available not only in black and white but also in two different sizes (5.25" and 6.5" woofer) with different power ratings.
