Powerful Integrated Amplifier With Versatile Signal Processing

The BC Acoustique EX-234 is designed for classic stereo playback with high channel stability. The shielded preamplifier and generously sized power stage are intended for speakers rated 4 to 8 ohms. With total harmonic distortion of < 0.01% and a signal-to-noise ratio > 100 dBA, the amplifier delivers very clean performance figures. For digital sources there are coaxial and optical inputs supporting up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The integrated Bluetooth receiver allows convenient music streaming, while the phono input lets you connect classic turntables directly. With XLR input, Sub Out and a USB port for firmware updates, the unit is highly flexible for modern and mixed HiFi setups.

3-Way Floorstanding Speakers With a Precise Driver Lineup

The Canton GLE 90 S2 operate as 3-way bass-reflex floorstanding speakers with a clearly defined driver layout. The low end is handled by 2 x 192 mm woofers, the midrange by a 174 mm midrange driver, and high frequencies are reproduced by a 25 mm aluminum tweeter with waveguide. This construction supports a well-differentiated frequency staging and precise spatial imaging. With a power handling of 160 W nominal and 320 W music power, a sensitivity of 89.5 dB and a frequency range of 22 to 40,000 Hz, the speakers are built for detailed music reproduction as well as dynamic headroom. The impedance of 4 to 8 ohms matches the EX-234's output stage perfectly.

Clean Connection With OFC Speaker Cable

The set includes a transparent PureLink speaker cable 10 m long with a 2 x 4.0 mm² cross-section. The conductor consists of 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC), which ensures low resistance and excellent electrical conductivity. In a powerful stereo setup with floorstanding speakers this cable cross-section is a technically sound choice to keep transmission losses low. Polarity marking and meter markings simplify tidy assembly and correct connection in a rack or living room.
