Bennett & Ross TA-70 Tube-Style Stereo System Champagne

Powerful Stereo Sound With Classic Tube Styling!

The Bennett & Ross TA-70 tube-style stereo system combines a versatile HiFi stereo amplifier with a pair of powerful McGrey BSS-265 BK bookshelf speakers. With 2x 35 Watt RMS output power, Bluetooth audio streaming, a built-in USB player, and both analog and digital inputs, the TA-70 is the convenient control center for your stereo setup. The passive 2-way speakers complement the stereo amplifier with 40 Watt RMS power handling each, a 6.5" woofer and a 0.5" tweeter. That gives you a matched HiFi set for music from your smartphone, tablet, USB drive or other compatible audio sources.

2x 35 Watt RMS For Your Stereo System

The Bennett & Ross TA-70 delivers 2x 35 Watt RMS and is designed to drive passive stereo speakers. A large volume knob gives you direct control over playback level. Separate bass and treble controls let you tailor the tonal balance to your taste and the listening environment. The illuminated analog VU meter and distinctive tube styling merge classic HiFi design with modern audio technology.

Bluetooth and USB For Digital Music

For contemporary wireless audio the TA-70 includes integrated Bluetooth. This lets you connect compatible smartphones and tablets wirelessly and play music directly through the stereo system. In addition, a front-facing USB port provides playback and control options for digital files. The system thus combines classic stereo HiFi with practical Bluetooth streaming and USB audio playback.

Analog and Digital Connectivity Options

Besides Bluetooth and USB, several wired inputs are available. Analog sources can be connected via the stereo cinch AUX input. For digital sources the amplifier offers both an optical and a coaxial digital input. A cinch subwoofer output allows you to expand the system with a suitable active subwoofer. For undisturbed listening there is also a front-mounted 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack.

2-Way Bookshelf Speakers With 6.5" Woofer

The two McGrey BSS-265 bookshelf speakers operate as a classic 2-way system. Each speaker is equipped with a 6.5" (16.5 cm) woofer and a 0.5" (1.27 cm) tweeter. The power handling is 80 Watt RMS total (2x 40 Watt RMS) and 150 Watt peak. With a frequency range of 70 Hz to 20,000 Hz and an impedance of 6 Ohm, the compact speakers cover a wide range of applications within the stereo setup.

Low-Resonance MDF Cabinet and Flexible Placement

The speaker cabinets are made from low-resonance MDF to support clean playback with reduced unwanted cabinet vibrations. The front grilles are magnetically attached and can be removed if needed. Thanks to rear keyhole mounting, the speakers can be placed on a shelf or sideboard, or mounted on a suitable wall. Foam rubber feet help decouple the speakers from the supporting surface when used standing.

Complete HiFi Set Including Speaker Cables

With the amplifier, two passive bookshelf speakers and two 3 m speaker cables, you get the essential components for a classic 2.0 stereo system in one set. The combination of a Bluetooth-equipped amplifier, USB player, versatile audio inputs and compact 2-way bookshelf speakers is ideal for music lovers who want modern playback options paired with classic HiFi operation and characteristic retro looks.
