Even When It Rains
The IP56 rating indicates the suitability of the McGrey OLS-5251 for outdoor use. The so-called IP Code (International Protection Code) describes how well an electronic device copes with certain temperatures, humidity, vapors, dust and other conditions. The IP56 rating means the OLS-5251 is protected against powerful water jets and its enclosure also provides full protection against contact. Furthermore, dust—even in quantities normally considered damaging—cannot harm this device.
70/100V Option
The OLS-5251 outdoor box can be connected to any conventional HiFi and PA amplifiers; in addition, there is the option to operate the speaker on 70 or 100V PA systems. The required power level is set via a rotary knob.
Robust Wall Speaker
The mounting bracket lets you attach the McGrey box to a wall with ease. The speaker is designed to rotate 90° vertically and 170° horizontally, giving the OLS-5251 maximum flexibility. At the same time the speaker is rugged and built to be a long-term musical companion. The bracket and grille are made of aluminum, and the enclosure is molded from durable plastic.
Available In Two Sizes
The McGrey OLS speaker is available not only in black and white: there are also two different sizes (5.25" and 6.5" woofers), each offered in various power ratings.
