OREA series: Eliminates harmful vibrations and delivers greater clarity and focus. The OREAs are ideal for electronic components such as amplifiers, D/A converters, CD players, speakers and turntables. These stainless-steel isolators feature a low-profile design to minimize any added height.
Each OREA model is rated for a specific weight. Each has a color ring on the lower isolator that indicates the model and weight capacity. The OREA series is packaged individually to give you greater flexibility in choosing how many units to use. Depending on the weight, we recommend at least three units under each audio component.
Greater Clarity
The top section of the OREAs is designed to provide a suction-cup–like effect and adhere to the bottom of the audio component, while the lower section stays slip-resistant on the support surface. All energy is managed in the OREA core, which is tuned to operate within specific weight ranges. This results in greater clarity and a more open soundstage that delivers an authentic, three-dimensional sound.
Works With or Without Feet
The existing feet on an audio component fit well with the OREA top isolator. Alternatively, you can achieve even better performance by either removing the feet completely or placing the OREAs next to the existing feet so they connect directly with the component's chassis.
Weight Capacity
The OREAs are designed to be used in multiples to carry the weight of the audio component or speaker. Commonly, three or four OREA isolators are used per component or speaker, but remember that it's most important to stay within the OREA isolator's weight capacity.
You should also consider the component's weight distribution. For example, if the component is heaviest at the rear, use three isolators with two positioned at the rear corners and one at the front/center.
