Denon DRA-900H 2.2 8K Stereo Receiver Black

Denon DRA-900H - versatile 8K stereo receiver in black!

The black Denon DRA-900H combines high-quality stereo sound with modern 8K video technology, integrated music streaming and convenient operation. Two discrete high-current amplifiers each deliver 100 watts at 8 ohms with both channels driven. With its 2.2-channel configuration, two subwoofer outputs, six HDMI inputs, HEOS multiroom, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and DAB+ digital radio, this network receiver is an ideal hub for your hi-fi system and stereo home theater.

Powerful stereo sound with 2.2 channels

With 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms, the DRA-900H drives a pair of stereo speakers with ease. Two subwoofer outputs let you add active subwoofers. Speaker A and B connections let you use two pairs of speakers; the receiver still uses just two amplifiers. Direct and Pure Direct reduce signal processing for clear, natural music listening. Use the bass, treble and balance controls to tailor the sound to your preferences.

8K HDMI for TV, movies and gaming

Six HDMI inputs, three of which support 8K, provide plenty of connections for a game console, Blu-ray player and streaming box. The HDMI output connects to a compatible TV and supports ARC/eARC audio return. The receiver processes video signals up to 8K/60 Hz or 4K/120 Hz. Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG, VRR and ALLM round out the features for high-contrast images and smooth gameplay. Audio is output in stereo; the DRA-900H is not a multichannel surround receiver.

HEOS multiroom and wireless music

Powered by HEOS, you can stream music from compatible online services, your home network or a NAS. Add other HEOS-enabled devices to create a multiroom system. Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth offer additional playback options. The built-in Bluetooth receiver plays music from smartphones and tablets, while the Bluetooth transmitter lets you connect compatible wireless headphones. Via USB or network, the receiver also plays hi-res files such as FLAC, ALAC and WAV up to 192 kHz/24-bit, as well as DSD up to 5.6 MHz.

Turntable, DAB+ and flexible connections

The built-in phono input for MM cartridges connects your turntable directly to the stereo receiver. Additional analog and digital inputs, including optical and coaxial connections, complement the HDMI ports. DAB+, FM and internet radio provide a wide range of stations. Use the analog preamp outputs to connect external amplifiers or active subwoofers; a separate Zone 2 output lets you play music in another room with suitable amplification. The black finish blends discreetly with classic and modern hi-fi components.
