They feature sturdy polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnet drives and the latest-generation triple-folded wave surrounds — a combination that enables exceptionally dynamic sound performance with minimal distortion.

This is almost unique in this size and price class. The system is complemented by Canton’s proven high-frequency system with a 25 mm aluminium-manganese dome: precisely engineered waveguides for optimal sound dispersion and coupling, together with tuned crossovers, allow accurate reproduction up to 40,000 hertz.

The Canton GLE 70 presents itself as a modern 2.5-way speaker with restrained, elegant styling. With harmonious proportions and attractive cabinet finishes in Black, White or Makassar, the compact floorstanders blend effortlessly into a wide range of living spaces. The baffles are painted matte black or silk-matte white depending on the finish.

Particularly striking are the magnetically attached fabric grilles in Black or White, generously rounded at the corners, which give the speakers a distinctive, stylish appearance. The well-proportioned bass-reflex cabinets measure 19 cm in width, 95 cm in height and 28 cm in depth. Four integrated feet in the cabinet base ensure a secure stance on the floor.
