Advanced AL32 Processing Plus for natural sound

Denon's Advanced AL32 Processing Plus processes digital audio signals using precise interpolation and oversampling techniques. Its aim is to reconstruct analog waveforms as faithfully as possible. The integrated ESS ES9018K2M D/A converter handles high-quality digital-to-analog conversion. With DAC Master Clock design, the clock is positioned close to the converter to minimize timing fluctuations in the digital signal and therefore reduce jitter. This helps voices, instruments, and subtle sonic details come through clearly.

Play CDs and Hi-Res files via USB-A

The DCD-900NE reads audio CDs as well as CD-R and CD-RW discs containing MP3 and WMA files. Compatible USB storage devices can be connected to the USB-A port on the front panel. The CD player supports lossless formats such as FLAC, WAV, AIFF, and ALAC at up to 192 kHz/24-bit, as well as DSD files at 2.8 MHz or 5.6 MHz. MP3, WMA, and AAC files can also be played via USB. This lets you bring your physical CD collection together with your digital music library.

Pure Direct and vibration-resistant construction

Pure Direct offers two settings: In Mode 1, the display is switched off during playback; in Mode 2, the digital audio output is also switched off. This lets you reduce potential sources of interference when listening through the analog output. The sturdy enclosure, with an aluminum front panel, carefully positioned power transformer, and short signal paths, supports low-noise audio processing.

Flexible connections and convenient operation

The Denon DCD-900NE has an analog stereo line output for connection to a stereo amplifier. An optical and a coaxial digital output provide alternative connections to an external D/A converter or compatible amplifier. Track programming, shuffle playback, repeat, and the included remote control make everyday use easier. The black metal front panel blends discreetly with modern AV and HiFi components, making the player an elegant centerpiece for your CD listening.
