Gibson PBBR-020 ABR-1 Tune-o-matic Bridge Gold!

The ABR-1 Tune-o-matic Bridge was invented in 1954 by legendary Gibson president Ted McCarty and set a standard for simplicity and functionality that has never been surpassed.

The ABR-1 is installed directly into the guitar body using a separate stud and a thumbwheel. It provides a solid anchor for the strings and lets the player set and fine-tune intonation and string height in minutes. It also creates an excellent connection between the strings and the body, resulting in outstanding vintage tone and sustain.
