The HK Audio PORTABLE SUB 115 A is an active 15" subwoofer for mobile DJs, bands, live acts, rental companies, events, presentations and flexible PA systems. With a 15" woofer, 3" voice coil, 700 Watt RMS amplifier power, 1,400 Watt peak power and 129 dB maximum peak SPL it delivers precise, punchy and controlled bass in a transport-friendly format. The integrated 24-bit DSP enables optimised system tuning and offers presets for LUNAR, SONAR, POLAR as well as General LPF 100 Hz. DSP Presets for Maximum Compatibility

The PORTABLE SUB series was developed as a consistently system-compatible complement for HK Audio LUNAR, SONAR and POLAR. Using the presets LUNAR, SONAR, POLAR and General LPF 100 Hz the subwoofer can be quickly matched to the respective speaker system. The 24-bit DSP provides precise filtering, limiting, high impulse fidelity and controlled bass reproduction. For other top cabinets with their own filtering the General preset with a low-pass filter at 100 Hz is available.

Practical for 2.1 Systems

The integrated stereo preamp makes the PORTABLE SUB 115 A particularly flexible. Via two balanced XLR/jack combo inputs and two balanced XLR Thru outputs you can build stereo setups easily. This lets you feed a stereo signal into the subwoofer and forward it from there to two top cabinets. Gain controls and a polarity switch help you adapt to room, placement and system configuration.

Robust MDF Enclosure for Mobile Use

The MDF enclosure with black acrylic lacquer finish offers high stability and good acoustic properties. The bass-reflex design, the open port, the 1.5 mm metal grille with black acoustic foam and the fanless Class-D amplifier support a reliable, low-noise performance. Two ergonomic MultiGrip handles make transport and handling easier. Made in Germany and a 5-year manufacturer warranty upon registration underline the professional standard.
