My Gibson Les Paul Traditional from the 2019 line up is a gorgeous instrument but also heavy. After experimenting with leather and fabric straps, I have now ordered this original Gibson strap and am happy. Crucial is the width of about 6.5 cm and the thick padding under the leather, which protrudes a bit at the sides and thus prevents the belt from cutting into the shoulder. The leather is thick and now also not super soft which makes but nothing at all thanks to the padding. I can recommend the belt and the price is o.k. in relation to other leather belts.
