Selectable Impedance and Stereo Operation
The two 12-inch speakers each have an 8 Ohm impedance, and with the switch on the back, the cabinet can be operated at 4, 8, or 16 Ohms. If only one input is used in stereo mode, both speakers reproduce the mono signal. Using both inputs allows true stereo sound, perfect for reproducing specific chorus or delay effects.
Robust and Portable
The enclosure is made of 18 mm thick plywood covered with a durable black Tolex layer. A handle on top and especially the two side handles make moving it easier. And if you have a longer distance ahead: just plug in the 4 swivel casters and hit the road.

Now I won't give it away again. After I realized that I liked the sound of the two speakers, I took a closer look at them. The build quality is decent for the price. I reworked a few things over a weekend. This was easy even for those who only have a little bit of manual skill. The speakers were only installed with wood screws and not screwed through with drive-in nuts. I changed this as well as the mounting of the front panel, which is now screwed on with strips.
(For myself, I then installed the bracket (drive-in nuts) for 2 other speakers that have a different bolt circle diameter. As I don't have enough space to put 2 speakers of the same size, I can now change the speakers in 5 minutes with a screwdriver. I can quickly switch to 2 Jensen speakers if I want a very clean sound with lots of treble. But that has nothing to do with the quality of the speaker)
The selector switch for the impedance is very nice, which makes it much easier to try out and use with different amps.
If you don't expect the quality of a €2,000 speaker, you'll be very well served with this speaker. You will see how it behaves on a tour, how it copes with the stresses of set-up and dismantling. It cuts a very fine figure in the rehearsal room and on a small club stage. Highly recommended!
