Wer dagegen eine wirkliche Betonung der Bässe sucht, ist mit einer 1960AV, den Modefour Cabinets oder einem Cabinet mit Greenback-Bestückung besser bedient.

90% des Sounds eines Cabinets kommt vom Gehäuse. Dabei gelten völlig andere Prinzipien als bei PA- oder Hifi-Boxen! Eine wesentliche Zutat zum legendären Sound der Marshall-Cabinets ist das verzapfte Gehäuse. Diese massiven Verbindungen der Gehäuseteile in alter Schreinertradition garantieren das gleichmäßige Schwingen der gesamten Box. Wichtig für den marshalltypisch perkussiven Grundsound!
Ideal auch für Racksysteme
Die 1960A ist als Stereobox ebenfalls für kleine Racksysteme beliebt. Im Stereobetrieb liegt die Anschlußimpedanz bei 2 x 8 Ohm. Wird bei größeren Gigs eine saubere Kanaltrennung gewünscht, lässt sich das Setup mit einer zweiten 1960A ergänzen. Die Impedanz liegt dann wahlweise bei 4 Ohm oder 16 Ohm.

Die Abschrägung der oberen Boxenhälfte sorgt für einen besonders günstigen Abstrahlwinkel im Halfstack. Auf diese Weise hört man die Backline auch auf kleinen Bühnen und föhnt nicht nur die Füße!

Hello!
My partner has two such boxes..... due to the size, however, one is still in his parents' house. Is there a connector to safely put the two on top of each other (so the top one doesn't fall on one of the kids when the whirlwinds run through the room).

No, unfortunately there is no connecting piece for the boxes. Due to their own weight, they are usually very stable on top of each other.

Does the speaker match the bass amplifier?

This Marshall speaker is really only designed for guitar, but if you're not playing a metal 5 or 6 string bass over it, it's conceivable that it could sound good. Guitar speakers just lack some bass foundation and at too high a volume you risk overdriving the speaker.
