Compact Sound With Big Character!

The Yamaha THR5 V2 is a compact guitar amplifier, desktop amp, practice amp and USB audio interface all in one. This model targets guitarists who don’t want to compromise on convincing tone when practicing, jamming, recording or listening to music. With 5 amp models from Clean and Crunch to Modern, the amp covers a wide sonic range for electric guitar. Integrated modulation, delay and reverb effects, a chromatic tuner and handy connections for headphones, Aux In and USB are included. That makes the THR5 V2 a flexible solution for home, backstage, hotel rooms or spontaneous sessions on the road.

Versatile Guitar Sound for Every Style

The five amp models Clean, Crunch, Lead, Brit HI and Modern provide a clear, practical selection for many genres. From transparent clean tones and punchy rock riffs to sustaining lead sounds and modern high-gain settings, everything is available instantly. As a practice amp, home amp or desktop guitar amp it shines with fast access to musical sounds without the need to set up extra equipment.

Stereo Sound and High-Quality Effects

The Yamaha THR5 V2 uses 2 x 8 cm full-range speakers with 2 x 5 W output, creating a wide stereo soundstage that presents not only guitar tones but also backing tracks and audio playback with pleasing spatial depth. The built-in effects like Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, Delay, Spring Reverb, Hall and Reverb expand your sound immediately. For modern practice, songwriting and recording this is a real advantage because tone shaping and playing flow come together instantly.

Ideal for Recording and Modern Practice

The USB connection lets you easily hook the amp to your computer. That makes the THR5 V2 not only a compact guitar combo but also an audio interface for home recording and music production. Cubase AI is included in the delivery. The Aux In makes it easy to play along with songs, playbacks or tutorials, while the headphone jack enables quiet practice. The built-in chromatic tuner and the tap function for delay times give you additional everyday support.

Flexible in Use

With battery or power adapter operation the Yamaha THR5 V2 is especially mobile. Its compact desktop format fits neatly on a desk, sideboard or studio table and makes it a strong choice for guitar practice, bedroom setups and space-saving recording environments. The beige design with the characteristic THR look highlights the distinctive appearance of this compact Yamaha guitar amplifier.

Comfortable Stereo Headphones

The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. It offers plenty of presence while still maintaining clean and precise imaging in the stereo field. The softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable; the slider provides 12 positions on each side for an optimal fit. For extra wearing comfort the ear cups are mounted on two-axis swivels. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups also provides good external noise isolation. The in-cable volume control is always at hand and makes using the headphones with a PC or MP3 player simple. The 3.5 mm stereo jack ensures excellent transmission and a 6.3 mm stereo adapter is included in the scope of delivery.
