I have an acoustic guitar Seagull S6 and today I received the Rocktile Scream-15.
I connected the guitar directly to the amplifier. Unfortunately, this does not work. There is no sound.
Only after I connected a small preamp, it works.
What am I doing wrong here? The preamplifier cannot be the solution. The operating instructions are also not understandable for laymen.

Unfortunately, you ordered the wrong amplifier. This amplifier is only suitable for electric guitars, which is why your acoustic guitar will only work with a preamp. I can highly recommend the following models as inexpensive acoustic amplifiers:

Can an effects unit from Zoom or Line6 be connected to the amplifier?

The amp does not have a special effects loop for external devices. However, you can of course connect the effects unit between the guitar and the amplifier and then simply operate the amplifier in clean mode. All effects (including any distorted sounds) are then generated by the effects unit and the amplifier works only as a box.
