The built-in digital power amp uses high-performance signal processing to reproduce the character of the analog 5150III 6L6 combo almost identically. The result is an extremely dynamic playing feel with clear headroom reserve and precise response across clean, crunch and high-gain tones. This modern technology cuts overall weight significantly without compromising the legendary EVH tone.

Versatile Tone Control and Noise Gates

All three channels feature fully independent control sets for Gain, Low, Mid, High, Volume and Noise Gate. Particularly handy are the new concentric EQ knobs on channels 1 and 2, which let you set frequencies with pinpoint accuracy. The integrated per-channel noise gates enable controlled, low-noise performance even at extreme high-gain settings.

Comprehensive Connectivity and Modern Interfaces

With an XLR line out including IR cab simulation, USB-C for firmware updates, MIDI In, effects loop and a headphone jack, the combo offers all the key connections for stage, studio and practice. Output can be reduced via a power selector—perfect for quiet recording or sessions at home. A mute switch allows silent practice or quick muting during a gig.

Robust Cabinet and Professional Footswitch

The closed 15 mm plywood cabinet provides stability and a defined, punchy tone. The updated 5-button footswitch now adds control over reverb and the effects loop and enables intuitive switching between the three channels.
