Choose from eight diverse amp types—all with natural response and dynamics based on BOSS’s decades of amp development experience. Additionally, a dedicated microphone preamp type lets you use the amp as a portable PA for your voice.
Built-In BOSS Effects
The DUAL CUBE LX offers a selection of BOSS stereo and mono effects to enhance your sound. Refine your amp tones with four types of modulation effects or Heavy Octave, and add space with delay or two types of reverb. Dive deeper into sound editing, swap effects, and fine-tune parameters using the DUAL CUBE LX Editor.
Custom Sound Adjustment
With the intuitive controls on the DUAL CUBE LX’s interface, you can quickly and easily create impressive sounds. Each amp type includes three user memory slots where you can save your settings with all control positions and recall them instantly. Plus, the DUAL CUBE LX Editor unlocks even more options to unleash your creativity. Choose from different amp and effect variations, adjust parameters in detail, and much more—comfortably on your Mac or Windows computer.
Stereo Input for Modelers and Pedalboards
The DUAL CUBE LX features a special amp type with stereo input for connecting stereo devices, including modern spatial processing that makes your sound resemble a much larger speaker cabinet. This provides a full full-range sound for amp/effect processors like the GT-1000, GT-1000CORE, GX-100, GT-1, or IR-200. Alternatively, you can select a neutral guitar amp sound in the DUAL CUBE LX Editor modeled after the famous Roland JC-120. This gives you a perfect starting point to explore the stereo capabilities of pedals like the BOSS 500 or 200 series.
Expand Your Possibilities
With optional FS-series footswitches, you can control the built-in looper and switch memory slots without taking your hands off the guitar. Even more options come with the optional Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adapter paired with a smartphone or tablet. Stream music wirelessly from your device and play along. Or use the iOS/Android version of the DUAL CUBE LX Editor to remotely control sounds and amp functions. At the same time, you can pair the EV-1-WL Wireless MIDI Expression Pedal with the amp to wirelessly control wah and volume.
