The Features They Need
The features are carefully selected to cover all the needs of an aspiring guitarist when practicing and performing: 2 footswitchable channels, our patented ISF tone control (Infinite Shape Feature), power reduction down to 5 watts, serial effects loop, and a customizable digital reverb with plate and hall options.
Clean & Overdrive Channels
Two footswitchable channels (2-way footswitch sold separately), both based on Blackstar’s award-winning tube amps. The Clean channel is based on the HT-2R MKII with a "Bright" switch and plenty of headroom. The Overdrive channel is based on the St. James 20L6, covering everything from blues and classic rock to metal tones. Great tube tone reproduction was a core focus in developing the Debut 50R.
Quiet Practice
If you need to lower the volume, plug into the Debut 50R’s headphone/recording output and enjoy incredibly detailed, natural speaker simulation. The handy headphone/recording output simulates the tonal characteristics of a guitar speaker, providing organic sounds for silent practice or direct home recording.
Power Reduction
The Debut 50R now features a switch to reduce power from 50W to 5W, allowing you to play at lower volumes without sacrificing tone.
Footswitchable Channels
Two footswitches for channel switching between Clean and Overdrive and for activating/deactivating reverb. This lets you shape your sound very flexibly with a 2-way footswitch (sold separately).
