The Features You Need
The features were carefully chosen to cover every need of an up-and-coming guitarist during practice and performance: 2 footswitchable channels, our patented ISF tone control (Infinite Shape Feature), 5-watt power reduction, a serial effects loop and a user-adjustable digital reverb with Plate and Hall options.
Clean & Overdrive Channels
Two footswitchable channels (2-way footswitch sold separately), both based on Blackstar's award-winning tube amps. The Clean channel is based on the HT-2R MKII with a "Bright" switch and plenty of headroom. The Overdrive channel is based on the St. James 20L6 and covers everything from blues and classic rock to metal tones. Great tube-tone reproduction was a core focus in the Debut 50R's development.
Practice Quietly
When you need to turn the volume down, plug into the Debut 50R's headphone/recording output and enjoy the incredibly detailed, natural speaker simulation. The convenient headphone/recording output simulates the sonic characteristics of a guitar speaker, providing organic tones for silent practice or direct home recording.
Power Reduction
The Debut 50R now features a switch to reduce power from 50W to 5W, allowing you to play at lower volumes without sacrificing tone.
Footswitchable Channels
Two footswitch functions for switching between Clean and Overdrive and for toggling Reverb on/off. This lets you shape your sound very flexibly with a 2-way footswitch (sold separately).
Play Back Music
Connect your phone, tablet or audio device and play your favorite tracks through the Debut 50R's speakers.
Instrument Cables
The Stage INST cables are professional guitar/instrument cables with high-quality jack plugs and gold-plated tips. This ensures low conductor capacitance and faithful audio transfer.
