Bass ukuleles differ from conventional ukuleles by using thick, elastic polyurethane strings instead of thin nylon ones. Their deep, double bass-like sound makes them a great alternative to bass guitars.

The body of the Cascha Bass Ukulele is made entirely of laminated mahogany wood, giving it a warm and full tone. The neck is crafted from Okume, and the fretboard is Blackwood. Fast runs come easy thanks to the compact fret spacing. Aquila Thundergut strings deliver impressive low-end punch, offering a comfortable playing feel and a distinctive double bass-like response.

Bass ukuleles are tuned E-A-D-G (the typical electric bass tuning). The high-quality black open geared tuners ensure excellent tuning stability and operate very precisely. If needed, the ukulele can be fine-tuned using the built-in tuner. The integrated truss rod allows perfect adjustment of the string action.

For practice, the Cascha Bass Ukulele can be played unplugged. When plugged into an amplifier via the built-in piezo pickup system, the surprisingly full bass potential unfolds. You can shape the rich bass sound to your liking using the built-in 3-band equalizer. Two built-in strap pins allow attaching ukulele straps, enhancing playing comfort.

The package includes a padded premium gigbag with embroidered logo. It protects your instrument perfectly and offers enough space in the outer pocket for accessories.
