For our new Evah Pirazzi Gold string set, distinguished by its seductively inspiring tone, we have developed a specially matched rosin. It helps ideally support the tonal richness, grip, and excellent response of these strings.
The Evah Pirazzi Gold rosin enhances the ease of response in very quiet passages and the instrument’s sensitivity to bow impulses during fast, virtuosic playing. It grips the strings intensely, absorbs the tone evenly, and articulates clearly and cleanly. Even immediately after applying the rosin, the bow offers the player a pleasantly smooth playing feel.
The Evah Pirazzi Gold rosin is characterized by very low dust production; it leaves no residue on the bow hair or the string contact point.
For optimal results, we especially recommend applying this rosin sparingly. Each piece of Pirastro rosin is first attached to a cloth and then to a small hard plastic holder, so fingers can handle the rosin easily without getting dirty.
