GS Mini-e Rosewood SB: A Classic Becomes Standard!

Since its launch in 2010, the GS Mini has become one of our most popular body shapes in travel size, winning numerous awards and capturing the hearts of guitarists worldwide. Inspired by the popularity of our 50th Anniversary GS Mini-e Rosewood SB LTD, Taylor brings the GS Mini-e Rosewood SB into the standard lineup.

With its comfortable, scaled-down Grand Symphony body shape and player-friendly 23½-inch scale length, the GS Mini delivers surprising power that belies its compact size. The torrefied Sitka spruce top with Custom Sunburst offers a balanced and articulate tonal profile with a sweet, broken-in sound. Back and sides of layered Indian rosewood provide a beautiful visual complement to the Sunburst top and enhance the guitar’s depth and tonal character. A thin matte finish allows vibrant resonance and ensures a smooth playing experience, whether you’re strumming or fingerpicking.

The GS Mini-e Rosewood SB features a range of subtle appointments, including a 3-ring rosette, 4mm dot fretboard inlays made of Italian acrylic, black bridge pins, chrome tuners, and a pickguard with flame stripes.

My Second Taylor Guitar

I started playing the Baby Taylor BT1 3.5 years ago and was really happy with it until I simply realized that it no longer fulfilled me. However, at 1.55m tall, it’s hard to find something really great. I thought about it for over a year, and in the end, the question was whether I just wanted a second guitar or something for the future. I decided on the future, and yes, sure, it’s my second one—and definitely not my last!!—but with it, I can grow even more now. The sound is incredible, and it also feels like I can now perfect my music. The price is definitely high—you have to think it through—I struggled with it myself, but I don’t regret it for a single second!! It has a deeper tone than I expected, but that’s exactly what I wanted; it’s heavier, but that was to be expected, and it’s darker than in the picture—I actually find that a bit of a shame, but okay. The strings are super easy to press down, no buzzing or anything like that...I just need to let my hand get used to it for now. So, dear little people—at 1.55m, I can only say—it fits!! By the way, I practiced the BM on the BT1 for two years—it was always buzzing. And now? No more buzzing—it’s amazing what a difference a guitar can make. Now I can say, “I’m a musician,” because for the first time in 3.5 years, that’s how I feel—and you can’t put a price on that! Thank you so much.

By the way, shipping was super fast, as always with Kirstein.

Incredibly great, clear sound! Brilliant and full despite small body!

The pickups do a great job for live performances and also recording!

Not suitable for large hands, but overall a great guitar!

After owning a big Martin for 2 years it was time to get a small guitar for traveling (hand luggage). Amazingly, the sound of this sweet appearance of a guitar is almost as rich and 100% as clear. The feel of holding the guitar is unsurpassable. The pickup is exquisite and with my acoustic amp this guitar sounds like it was in the studio. For a Taylor, this guitar is very reasonably priced, although it has an unbeatable design and the sound is enough to fill a large room with wonderful sounds even without an amp. I can recommend this guitar to everyone, I bet you will fall in love with it too.
Little dream... with big sound

What do you do in Coronia times: What you stopped doing years ago. Playing guitar. As a teenager I had a massive Ibanez, which could be played like butter: flat string action, large body, behind which I felt disappeared. Since we have rediscovered campfire gatherings for us, the musical accompaniment is somehow missing, if it is not to be the boombox. As luck would have it, Kirstein had a Taylor GS Mini on sale as a return and I listened to the sound of this guitar for the first time. It is unbelievable. And since I wanted it smaller, I compared the sound with a comparable Ibanez in the size: The price difference was audible. In this respect, after having slept on it three times, I decided against Ibanez for the Taylor GS mini-e Rosewood. The surprise was literally big: Because the delivery was transport-safe box in the box with guitar in the soft bag, which is already much more stable than what is commonly understood by gig bag. The workmanship is beautiful, impeccable and flawless. The soundhole seems huge with its 10cm on the body. After a tempering of the instrument and first tuning it started. Rich natural sound, which is just fun, with little weight.
