Inspired by the holy grail of vintage acoustic instruments, Gibson’s luthiers in Montana have meticulously handcrafted a J-45 that matches the construction and components of their most beloved and famous version. The new 1942 Banner J-45 features a thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top, hand-finished with a historic-style burst finish, hot hide-glued bracing for enhanced tonal response, and bone saddle and bridge pins.

Actually I know that you should not just buy a guitar online ;) You should have tried it before, have examined...etc..
But now I had exactly this model in mind for a long time, but never had the time to play it at a dealer.

And bam! Unpacked, inspected and played the guitar.
A dream! Flawless! Exactly what I wanted and more... actually my expectations were exceeded.
The sound is exactly what you would expect from a J-45 but much more mature and brilliant.
Light as a feather, beautiful vintage sunburst look and among other things by the super-thin nitro paint it sounds just really strong and present.
Am more than satisfied and can only warmly recommend it to everyone.
