At the same time the voicing remains versatile enough to perform confidently in many other styles.

Solid Tonewoods for Lively Sound

The solid Sitka spruce top works together with back and sides of solid mahogany to produce a warm, open fundamental tone with good projection and fine detail. The traditional scalloped X-bracing supports quick response and a lively tonal development. As a result the instrument reacts sensitively to your picking strength and renders both delicate passages and strong strumming cleanly.

Comfortable Neck and Familiar Feel

The Utile neck with SlimTaper profile sits comfortably in the hand and enables fluid position changes as well as a relaxed feel across the entire fretboard. The rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius strikes a balanced compromise between traditional feel and modern playability. 19 frets and simple mother-of-pearl dot markers underline the classic style of this model.

Practical Features for Stage and Studio

The rectangular rosewood bridge is fitted with a TUSQ saddle, while the nut and bridge pins are also made of TUSQ. This supports clean intonation and a stable transfer of vibration.
