Gibson war Anfang der 1900er Jahre mit seiner "L-Series Small Body"-Akustik ein Pionier in der Entwicklung von Small Body Gitarren. Diese kleineren Gibsons liefern eine Tonalität, die am besten in Gibsons Katalog von 1934 als Klang "perfekter Ausgewogenheit" beschrieben wird.
Die L-00 Original bringt alle Vorteile einer Akustikgitarre mit, die sich zuhause bequem spielen lässt, produziert aber dennoch Gibsons satten, vollen Klang. Die neue L-00 Original verfügt über ein klassisches Gibson-Logo mit weißer Schrift, subtil antiquierte Decken- und Bodenbindings und Golden Age Nickel-Mechaniken.
