I needed a new acoustic guitar because my ancient old guitar wasn't worth repairing anymore.
Since I don’t hit the dance floor anymore—I’m in a wheelchair now—I really just need something to strum around with at home. So I bought an inexpensive HB St Acoustic from Großer T and was a bit horrified by the absolutely terrible quality. Nothing about it felt right. I have to play while sitting in my wheelchair now, and a thick body gets in the way. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many alternatives. So when this new Fender—which is relatively affordable for the brand—came out, I bought it, and I’ve been totally thrilled ever since. It sounds great even without a cable or an amp plugged in, and it’s just insane when plugged in. It fits perfectly with my style, which leans toward Dylan/Young/Springsteen. “Tougher than the rest” by the Boss sounds like it was written for this guitar. Just awesome!
