The Lâg Sauvage-J12CE is a 12-string jumbo acoustic guitar with a pickup system and part of Lâg Guitars’ Sauvage series. It delivers the quality, innovation, and sustainability that define the entire series.
Sustainability
The Sauvage-J12CE is crafted from sustainably sourced, certified BrankoWood using an innovative, eco-friendly finishing process. Thanks to a special treatment, BrankoWood is an exceptionally stable wood, resistant to moisture and temperature changes, offering the qualities of fine tonewoods without harming the environment.
Jumbo Body Shape
With its jumbo 12-string design, the Sauvage-J12CE produces a rich and powerful sound that offers both volume and depth, characteristic of 12-string guitars. This distinctive body shape makes it a versatile instrument, perfect for strumming, fingerpicking, or solo performances.
Preamp System
Equipped with the StageLâg preamp system, the Sauvage-J12CE provides comprehensive tone control for stage and studio use. The controls for volume, bass, mids, treble, phase reversal, notch filter, and an onboard tuner allow precise sound shaping and spontaneous adjustments during performances. The rounded back and the BrankoWood body further enrich the guitar’s full-bodied tone.
Unique Design
Featuring the iconic Lâg headstock design echoed in the bridge, along with smoked eucalyptus back and sides in a rough sawn finish, the Sauvage-J12CE boasts a striking look that immediately captivates. The rounded back, black graphite nut and saddle inserts, and black tuners give the guitar the signature visual elegance of the Sauvage series. Its unique appearance and dynamic, rounded sound set the Lâg Sauvage-J12CE apart from other 12-string guitars.
The Sauvage Series
The Lâg Sauvage-J12CE offers a harmonious blend of design, sustainability, and premium sound quality. This 12-string jumbo electro-acoustic guitar embodies the spirit of innovation and quality that Lâg Guitars represents. Unpack it, marvel at it, tune it, play it… what a sound!!!
The ’48-style nut fits comfortably in my large hand; the action is just right; sustain extends all the way into the upper registers—which can’t be attributed solely to the jumbo body size.
The strikingly grained “Pale Brankowood” is, according to the specifications, “tropified” (patented). In terms of material quality, it’s naturally no comparison to finely grained Engelmann spruce. Untreated softwood with a similar appearance, on the other hand, would certainly “fall apart” quickly in terms of construction and sound quality.
A clever touch has also been achieved with the rough-sawn eucalyptus used for the sides and back. What a feeling!!!
Heading on vacation with the gig bag—now the guitar has to prove itself; the battery-powered amp stays at home!
The 12-string adventure begins.
