Ibanez AE160-VMS Guitar in Vintage Mahogany Sunburst!
The acoustic guitar has a long history and a rich musical heritage, steeped in tradition. But music keeps evolving, and players demand inspiring new instruments to craft their own distinctive sound. With this in mind, Ibanez presents the AE, its flagship acoustic-electric guitar offering outstanding tone and playability, adding another great chapter to the acoustic guitar legacy.
The AE160 features a Comfort Grip Nyatoh neck, a Thermo Aged Ovangkol fretboard, a solid Sitka spruce top, and Ovangkol back & sides. It’s also equipped with an Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup, an Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp with built-in tuner, and a Thermo Aged Ovangkol scalloped bridge. Additionally, the acoustic guitar includes the A.I.R.port soundhole and X-M bracing.
A.I.R.port
Through intensive research and development, the A.I.R.port features a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and directs them out through a precisely positioned soundhole. This allows players to hear what they play more clearly, enhancing the overall playing experience.
