Yamaha FS7 MX Natural Acoustic Guitar

Yamaha FS7 MX - Japanese Guitar Craftsmanship for Expressive Music!

The Yamaha FS7 MX combines traditional Japanese guitar craftsmanship with a modern tonal setup tailored especially to singer-songwriters. With its compact concert body, a solid Sitka spruce top and back and sides made from solid African mahogany, this acoustic guitar delivers an articulate, dynamic sound with warm mids and harmonically rounded trebles. The built-in Yamaha Atmosfeel pickup system lets you reproduce the instrument's natural character authentically when amplified. Made in Japan, the FS7 MX pairs a carefully tuned wood construction with a restrained, traditional Japanese aesthetic.

Solid Tonewoods for Dynamic Response and Warm Overtones

The solid Sitka spruce top forms the tonal foundation of the Yamaha FS7 MX. Thanks to its direct response and dynamic properties, it suits both finely nuanced fingerpicking and expressive strumming. The scalloped X-bracing supports the free vibration of the top and contributes to a powerful projection. Together with the reinforced back, it creates a responsive tonal character that renders single notes as well as complex chords with clarity. Back and sides of solid African mahogany add warm mids and smooth, rounded overtones. The concert body promotes precise articulation and enables controlled, musically versatile sonic development.

Comfortable V-Neck Profile and Premium Appointments

The mahogany neck with a rounded V profile combines a traditional neck shape with comfortable playability. Its contour supports a natural hand position and gives you a comfortable feel when playing chord accompaniments, melodic lines and fingerstyle techniques. The ebony fretboard impresses with an immediate, clearly defined response. The bridge is also made of ebony and complements the precise transfer of tone. A bone nut and saddle support balanced resonance, clarity of individual notes and long sustain. Open Gotoh tuners in Cosmo Black complete the appointments and ensure reliable tuning and long-lasting performance.

Yamaha Atmosfeel - Natural Acoustic Tone Even When Amplified

With the integrated Yamaha Atmosfeel pickup system, the FS7 MX is equipped for amplified use. The system was designed to capture the acoustic guitar's natural voice as authentically as possible and to preserve its characteristic dynamics. This keeps the distinct tonal elements of the Sitka spruce top and the warm mids of the African mahogany center stage even when amplified. Especially for vocal accompaniment, acoustic live gigs and expressive solo passages, this combination gives you a versatile foundation.

Traditional Japanese Design and Made in Japan

Alongside its tonal quality, the Yamaha FS7 MX stands out for its traditional Japanese design. The understated aesthetic underlines the instrument's independent character without distracting from its natural wood construction. Made in Japan, the high-quality materials and carefully matched components make this electro-acoustic concert guitar an appealing choice for discerning guitarists who value expressiveness, play comfort and authentic acoustic tone. A matching hardshell case is included and allows protected transport and secure storage of your guitar.
