My wish was actually for a good travel guitar, so I decided on a Taylor GS Mini.
I also wanted to test whether a narrower nut width would be more comfortable for my hands.
As I get on well with my acoustic guitar (44.5 mm nut width) and sometimes have problems with my concert guitar with 52 mm nut width.
However, when testing the GS Mini in different versions, I realized that they didn't sound right for me and the nut was too narrow.
So I started looking again for a 4/4 with a narrower neck. I also wanted to have a tuner with me.
After several searches, I came across the crossover models among the nylon guitars.
The neck of the guitar is not flat, but a little rounded, like an acoustic guitar, which makes it very comfortable to play.
There are various manufacturers, but for me the Taylor was the winner. The armrest makes a difference. The sound is great, the tuner is accurate. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the rest of the electronics. Changing the batteries is a bit tricky, you have to be a bit careful when closing the flap so that no cables get pinched.
Price/performance is top here. Very good workmanship.
I have now tested it for two months and am still satisfied and can only recommend this guitar for beginners and experienced players alike.
And yes, it goes on trips with me. Due to the natural finish, it is not as sensitive as the lacquered guitars.
The guitar arrived very well packaged and perfectly set up for me.
