Taylor Next Generation 814ce Limited Edition Casablanca Beige Metallic

Taylor Next Generation 814ce LTD - Grand Auditorium In Limited Edition!

The Taylor Next Generation 814ce LTD combines the proven Grand Auditorium body shape of the 800 series with Taylor's current Next Generation construction features. A metallic-shimmering top finish, premium inlays and carefully chosen details give this limited-edition acoustic guitar a distinct presence, while Sitka spruce and rosewood form the model's classic wood combination.

Next-Generation Construction With Scalloped V-Class Bracing

Inside you'll find Taylor's Scalloped V-Class bracing. The refined bracing is engineered to add extra low-end weight to the traditional Sitka spruce top paired with rosewood back and sides, and to provide an open character with freely vibrating strings. The Grand Auditorium body shape combines generous acoustic presence with a versatile, balanced response suitable for a wide range of playing styles.

Action Control Neck For Flexible Playability

A central feature of the Next Generation specification is the mahogany neck with Action Control. This system enables immediate adjustment of the string action, expanding the options to tailor the instrument to personal preferences or different playing situations. The ebony fretboard complements the premium construction. With a scale length of 25.5" (648 mm) and a nut width of 44.45 mm, the 814ce LTD remains within the familiar dimensions of a modern Taylor acoustic.

Claria Electronics For Amplified Use

Equipped with the Taylor Claria System, the guitar is ready for stage, studio and direct recording. The electronics provide an integrated solution for amplified performance. It ships with D'Addario XS Coated Phosphor Bronze Light strings, while Taylor tuners with a smoked-nickel finish complete the hardware.

Limited Details With a Distinct Character

The design is inspired by a rare Porsche color from the late 1970s and produces subtle metallic shifts depending on the light. Mother-of-pearl Windansea inlays, a firestripe pickguard, maple binding with a bound soundhole and a green abalone rosette add further accents. A rounded rosewood armrest is integrated into the body to support comfort for the right forearm. The instrument comes with a Taylor Deluxe hard case with a "British Cocoa" vinyl exterior.
