Tradition Meets Elegance - The Taylor Gold Label 714e!

With its classic combination of tonewoods, natural finish and clean, subtle details, the Gold Label 714e captures the sonic and visual character of traditional steel-string acoustic guitars. The solid Indian rosewood back and sides are paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top in a Super Auditorium body that is slightly longer and a bit wider in the lower bout than our signature Grand Auditorium shape. This versatile model produces a deep, open voice characterized by warm, resonant lows, rounded highs and rich, floral overtones.

The specially torrefied top adds a pleasant sweetness to the tone. Inside, a fan-shaped variant of our V-Class bracing architecture delivers additional volume and sustain. The slim Action Control neck with a long dovetail offers the familiar Taylor playability and can be easily and precisely adjusted through the soundhole. This model features design elements developed exclusively for the Gold Label Collection: a distinctive pickguard shape and a modified headplate shape with an angled cut and a script-style logo.

Other details include a full-body high-gloss finish, cream bindings with matching crest fretboard inlays and rosette, and a Curve Wing bridge made from Honduran rosewood with Indian rosewood bridge pins. The Gold Label 714e is equipped with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and ships in a Taylor Deluxe hardshell case with a British Cocoa exterior.
