For the 2026 model year, the Builder's Edition 814ce in rosewood appears in three extraordinary wood pairings and exclusive appointments — developed for players who demand the highest standards in tone, comfort, and design. All variants benefit from the next-generation performance features: a further optimized neck, refined bracing, and the latest electronics deliver an even more direct playing feel, greater dynamics, and impressive sonic precision.

True to the Builder's Edition philosophy, playability is clearly front and center. An elegantly beveled armrest, the ergonomic cutaway, gently rounded body edges, and the innovative Curve-Wing bridge make every session noticeably more comfortable — whether on stage, in the studio, or at home.

An Adirondack spruce top offers an improvement over the 814ce's standard Sitka top and increases this model's headroom, giving players a wider dynamic range in addition to rosewood's rich tonal palette. Aesthetic details include a rosewood top binding, a maple fretboard and headplate decoration, a green abalone rosette with rosewood and maple trim, a rosewood soundhole trim, mother-of-pearl element inlays, Kona Edgeburst back and sides, a gloss-finished body, a rosewood pickguard, and Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold.
